No CL500 deserves to be treated this way. Still love the car though even with the dumb rims. I have a theory about the CL. In modern times it is the closest automobile that can still compare to the Pre War classics. Mercedes offers the CL/S Class in couple, convertible now, limo, and classic sedan with a host of outstanding engine options. Luxury or sports luxury all wrapped up in one irresistible package

I don't think it looks at bad.

It’s not horrible but I think it makes it look cheaper

I’d totally drive it with those rims.

I agree about the rims. Mercedes makes nice looking stock rims (except for maybe a few) why change them?

Should’ve put AMG Monoblocks on it.

I like the incorrect AMG badge too. Pretty cars, especially with the windows down, but they are still depreciating, and that means new owners might not have the most subtle taste.

Really? They seem too big

Exactly the way I think too

New owners do not have great tatse when price goes down usually. They want the style and could usually care less about the engineering it seems

As a longtime MB owner/enthusiast and somewhat of a traditional fan, a few things are instant turn offs - cars that are unreasonably dirty/neglected, incorrect colors, aftermarket wheels, aftermarket lights, and aftermarket stereos. The latter 3 especially often keep me from looking beyond a pic.
